During laser cutting, molten metal solidifies and forms hard slag on the cutting‑table slats. Excessive slag causes slag back‑splashing, yellow stains on workpieces, poor cutting accuracy and accelerated consumption of nozzles and lenses.
JT‑C series hand‑push slat slag removers are operated by one person directly on the laser‑cutting machine table. No disassembly of slats is needed. For laser machines equipped with exchange tables, slag cleaning can even run simultaneously with cutting production.
The machine efficiently removes stubborn slag from stainless steel, carbon steel and other materials. It greatly extends slat service life. Compared with manual cleaning, it cuts workload by 40 %. Compared with frequent slat replacement, overall cost can be reduced by up to 75 %. It is widely compatible with most fiber laser cutting machines.

Routine Maintenance
- Clear metal chips from machine surface after each use. Inspect cutter condition. Replace cutters when they become blunt or chipped.
- Inspect motor and transmission parts periodically; lubricate bearings. Check power cable for damage to guarantee electrical safety.
- Avoid long‑time over‑load operation. If large slag blocks jam the machine, remove big slag chunks manually before pushing the machine forward.
