Collaborative Robot Laser Welding Platform

Product Overview

Collaborative Robotic Laser Welder 11.jpg Collaborative Robotic Laser Welder12.jpg

The Collaborative Robot Laser Welding Platform deeply integrates 6‑axis collaborative robot technology with high‑power fiber laser welding technology. The complete unit consists of a collaborative robot body, 6000W fiber laser source, professional laser welding head, servo wire‑feeding mechanism, constant‑temperature cooling unit and dedicated welding control system to realize human‑robot collaborative welding operations.

Featuring drag‑and‑teach programming, the machine enables human‑robot collaborative production without mandatory safety fencing. It adapts to low‑volume, multi‑variant flexible manufacturing and supports welding processes such as fillet welding and butt welding. Compatible with mild steel and galvanized steel, it delivers welding penetration from 1 mm to 12 mm with a maximum processing dimension of 2200×1000×150 mm. Capable of connecting to customer‑owned tooling and fixtures, the platform can be quickly integrated into existing production lines for welding of steel frames, heavy‑duty machinery components, ship parts, coal‑mining equipment, bridge components, aerospace parts and sheet‑metal assemblies.

Technical Features

  1. Safe Human‑Robot Collaboration Equipped with an Estun 6‑axis collaborative robot with collision detection and drag‑and‑teach functions, complying with safety standard EN ISO 13849‑1 PLd Cat.3. Close‑range human‑robot interaction is achievable, eliminating high costs for traditional safety barriers. The robot supports mounting at any angle to fit diverse workshop layouts.
  2. Stable High‑Power Laser Output Powered by a Raycus 6000 W fiber laser source with 35% photoelectric‑electric conversion efficiency. Laser power is continuously adjustable from 10‑100 %, supporting continuous and user‑defined pulsed output modes for consistent energy delivery. The laser safety circuit interlocks with the overall system; laser emission is cut off immediately upon emergency stop to ensure operational safety.
  3. Professional Welding Process Configuration Fitted with a RayTools BW06K laser welding head integrated with a CCD viewing system. Dual‑protective‑window design and water‑cooled optical path enable deep‑penetration welding for medium‑thick plates with excellent weld depth‑to‑width ratio. Matched with a servo wire feeder, it allows optional expansion modules including seam tracking and lens temperature monitoring. Combined co‑axial and par‑axial gas flow optimizes molten‑pool protection and minimizes spatter.
  4. User‑Friendly Intelligent Control System Adopts the Xinsiwei dedicated welding control system, compatible with mainstream industrial communication protocols including RS485, Profinet and EtherNet/IP. Remote scripting and API secondary development are supported. Operators can define welding trajectories via drag‑and‑teach without advanced programming skills, enabling fast production change‑over between different workpieces.
  5. Reliable Constant‑Temperature Cooling A Teyu high‑power chiller provides stable temperature control for the laser source and welding head, supporting 24‑hour continuous production, reducing failure risks and extending service life of key components.
  6. Comprehensive Safety Protection Designed in accordance with national GB standards and ISO requirements for laser and machinery safety. Integrated laser safety circuits and multi‑channel emergency stops are provided. Laser safety goggles and other protective accessories are supplied to mitigate hazards from laser radiation and mechanical collision.
