In the industrial blanking field, the cutting of medium and thick carbon steel plates and stainless steel plates has long relied on traditional technologies such as plasma cutting and flame cutting. However, as manufacturing requirements for precision and efficiency continue to rise, large-format high-power fiber laser cutting machines have gradually become the mainstream. With their advantages of high precision and efficiency, they are replacing traditional plasma cutting machines and driving processing transformations in industries such as shipbuilding and steel mills.

This laser cutting machine is a high-tech product integrating laser cutting, precision machinery, and CNC technology. Its processing format can be customized according to user requirements, with a maximum size of 12000mm×3000mm, easily meeting the needs of large-format plate processing. The entire machine mainly consists of a machine tool main body, a smoke extraction and dust collection system, an electrical control unit, and a chiller. All components work in coordination to ensure cutting results while balancing environmental protection and stability.

The machine tool main body is the core component, adopting a segmented frame and a split-type elevated beam design to ensure guide rail installation accuracy and transmission stability. The Z-axis can move independently or in linkage with the X and Y axes to precisely control the vertical movement of the cutting head. Equipped with a modular workbench, it not only facilitates waste cleaning but also enables non-standard format customization. The smoke extraction and dust collection system adopts a blow-suction design, forming a closed loop through a blowing fan, a sliding suction trolley, and a dust collector to efficiently collect cutting fumes and keep the working environment clean. The electrical control unit is equipped with a high-end bus system with fast interpolation calculation speed, combined with AC servo motors for rapid drive response, ensuring precise cutting trajectories.

Compared with traditional plasma cutting machines, its advantages are significant:

Cutting Speed: For carbon steel within 20mm, the cutting speed is twice that of plasma cutting. For 12mm stainless steel, the speed reaches 8500-9000mm/min, far exceeding the 3000mm/min of plasma cutting, greatly improving production efficiency.

Cutting Precision: The positioning accuracy is 0.14mm/10m, and the repeat positioning accuracy is 0.05mm/10m. The kerf width is only 0.2-2mm, saving 5%-8% of materials compared to plasma cutting. With a small heat-affected zone, minimal workpiece deformation, and a section perpendicularity of less than 0.3°, almost no post-processing grinding is required.

Cost-Effectiveness: Although the initial investment in a laser cutting machine is higher, it is more cost-effective in the long run. The consumable cost is only 5 yuan/hour, much lower than the 70 yuan/hour of plasma cutting. Additionally, there is no need for additional drilling or bevel processing equipment, eliminating manual handling and grinding steps. The operating cost per meter is approximately 1-3 yuan lower than that of plasma cutting. Moreover, it features bevel cutting capabilities, enabling direct completion of complex processing and further reducing process flow.

With its large processing format, high cutting precision, fast processing speed, and low comprehensive cost, this large-format high-power fiber laser cutting machine perfectly meets the needs of medium and thick plate processing.
