The hand‑press galvanometer energy‑storage laser welding machine is an industrial‑grade complete set of press‑fit galvanometer laser welding equipment. Compatible with 1080 nm fiber lasers with maximum power output up to 3000 W, it is equipped with a high‑speed digital galvanometer scanning system and a multi‑angle rotatable mechanical cantilever bracket. It adopts press‑triggered operation mode to start welding after workpiece fitting and positioning. Without moving workpieces, it completes high‑speed scanning welding through deflected laser beams. Featuring controllable heat input and low welding deformation, it meets requirements for small‑batch trial production, repair welding and flexible manufacturing. Integrated with air‑knife protection, water‑cooling heat dissipation and touch‑screen control system, the machine is built with complete alarm and safety protection mechanisms. It shall only be operated by professionally‑trained personnel.
Targeted at the new‑energy industry, it applies to welding of lithium‑ion battery packs, energy‑storage modules, battery busbars, tab connectors, copper‑aluminum adapters and energy‑storage cabinet accessories. It supports welding of copper, aluminum, nickel, stainless steel and other metals as well as dissimilar‑metal combinations, adapting to lab sampling, production‑line rework and small‑batch module manufacturing.
Technical Features

- High‑speed Galvanometer Scanning Welding Built‑in X/Y high‑speed galvanometer motors support multiple welding trajectories including circle, sine wave, rectangle and double wave. Spinning and revolution modes of laser spots are configurable freely. Fast beam scanning delivers uniform and full weld seams with narrow heat‑affected zones. It lowers over‑heating risks for batteries and ensures safe and reliable battery welding performance.
- Hand‑press Positioning & Flexible Cantilever Operation The multi‑degree‑of‑freedom mechanical cantilever enables 360° wide‑range rotary movement for large‑size workpieces. Laser emission is triggered by hand‑press fitting positioning for simple and stable locating, reducing reliance on operator skills. The high‑load cantilever allows flexible adjustment of laser head position for irregular and large‑size battery assemblies.
- Air‑knife Protection & Full Water‑cooling Structure The integrated air‑knife unit forms an air curtain during welding to blow away spatters and protect the field lens. Circulating water‑cooling is adopted for long‑time high‑power continuous operation with water pressure ≥0.4 MPa. Both collimating lens and field lens adopt drawer‑type mounting structure for easy disassembly, replacement and routine maintenance.
- Intelligent Touch‑screen Control System Equipped with an industrial touch screen for parameter editing, red‑light preview, advanced process setup, galvanometer fine‑tuning and signal monitoring. Two laser emission modes are available: in‑ching emission and program‑controlled emission. Operators can configure laser power, PWM frequency, duty cycle, power ramp‑up/ramp‑down, pre‑gas delay and post‑gas hold‑off. Galvanometer center offset and scaling factor calibration support precise spot alignment.
- Multi‑level Safety & Signal Compatibility Multi‑channel signal inputs for emergency stop, laser alarm and water chiller alarm. Red‑light preview function visualizes welding trajectories before actual processing. Standard QBH fiber interface fits mainstream industrial fiber lasers on the market. Multi‑channel I/O ports connect external gas valves and water chillers for easy production‑line integration. Designed per Class‑4 laser safety standards to prevent injuries from direct and scattered laser radiation.
- Dedicated Battery Positioning Tooling Optional battery positioning dies accurately limit cells and tabs to improve welding consistency of battery packs and reduce mis‑alignment defects.
