DMK LASER Operations Department Busy "Charging Up": Mastering Laser Technology with Theory and Practice
On November 29, 2025, colleagues from DMK LASER's Operations Department embarked on a practical technical training program, focusing on two core technologies: laser cleaning and laser welding. From theoretical knowledge to on-site hands-on practice, the intensive and rewarding learning experience effectively "recharged" everyone for their work.
This training emphasized "learning for application," with hands-on sessions accounting for over half of the program. Senior engineers were invited as instructors, who not only explained theoretical concepts—such as the decontamination principles of laser cleaning and parameter matching for laser welding—in a clear and accessible manner but also led participants to the workshop for live demonstrations using DMK's independently developed laser equipment. Every step, from equipment startup and calibration to adjusting laser power and spot size for different workpieces, was taught through one-on-one guidance. When colleagues encountered practical challenges like "how to avoid substrate damage during cleaning" or "how to reduce spatter during welding," the instructors promptly analyzed the issues and demonstrated solutions in detail.

The on-site learning atmosphere was enthusiastic, with no one adopting a casual "just listening" attitude. Some colleagues took notes on parameters, others observed operational details around the equipment, and many exchanged insights during breaks—for example, "Increasing the power by 2% significantly improved welding stability." Everyone was eager not to miss any practical knowledge points.
DMK LASER has always adhered to the belief that "understanding technology enables understanding customers." Therefore, we regularly organize technical training on core technologies for non-technical departments such as operations and sales. This ensures that our team can accurately grasp customer needs and provide more professional services in the future. If you have any questions about laser equipment operation or maintenance, feel free to leave a message on our official website. Let's discuss technology, solve problems, and jointly optimize laser applications!
