1.1 Filtration System
- Equipped with PTFE‑membrane‑coated F9 filter cartridges from Ahlstrom (Finland) or TORAY (Japan). Filtration efficiency reaches 99.99 % for 0.1 μm particulates. Adopting surface‑filtration principle, dust only accumulates on filter material surface instead of penetrating fiber layers. Pulse‑jet cleaning delivers thorough dust removal. Service life is 2‑3 times longer than conventional filter media, with flame‑retardant performance.
- Gravity‑downward inertia settling chamber structure. Dust‑laden airflow travels in the same direction as gravity for natural dust settlement into ash hopper, preventing re‑entrainment and improving overall filtration efficiency.
- Standard spark trap blocks high‑temperature sparks generated during cutting and lowers filter cartridge fire risks. The LEX explosion‑proof variant is fitted with explosion‑relief panels, anti‑static filter cartridges, explosion‑proof electric cabinet and explosion‑proof fan for explosive‑dust environments.
1.2 Self‑developed Intelligent Control System
- Custom HMI touch‑screen human‑machine interface with STM main‑control chip and independent memory chip for stable performance. Multiple communication protocols including EtherCAT, WIFI and RS485 are supported. The collector can interlock with laser cutting machines for remote start‑stop as well as local manual operation.
- Multi‑channel on‑board pulse‑blow outputs. Differential‑pressure sensor triggers automatic pulse‑jet cleaning. Complete alarm functions cover phase‑sequence error, fan overload, temperature abnormality and over‑pressure warning.
- Star‑delta startup for high‑power motors. Optional frequency converter enables variable‑frequency operation for energy‑saving purposes.
1.3 Mechanical & Structural Advantages
- Reinforced housing made of 4‑5 mm thick steel plate, with pressure resistance up to 5000 Pa. Galvanized filter‑cartridge brackets with unique triangular mechanics design ensure tight sealing and prevent fume leakage to clean‑air side. Electrophoretic‑painted cartridge covers resist corrosion for up to 10‑year service life. Quick‑twist handles enable easy filter‑cartridge replacement.
- Siemens centrifugal fan delivers sufficient air volume and negative pressure. Pull‑out ash hopper facilitates dust disposal. Compact footprint fits most workshop layouts.

Operation & Maintenance

Routine Maintenance
- Ash Hopper: Clean the ash hopper when prompted after approx. 70 operating hours. Never allow excessive dust accumulation which will degrade dust‑removal performance. Clean spark trap dust deposits periodically with vacuum cleaner.
- Compressed Air: Maintain 0.6 MPa oil‑free & water‑free air supply; drain water‑oil separator regularly.
- Electric Control: Inspect wiring and communication cables periodically; keep electrical cabinet dry.
Filter‑cartridge Replacement Cycle
- Under normal metal‑cutting conditions, replace all filter cartridges every 2500‑3000 operating hours. Immediate replacement is required in case of persistent differential‑pressure alarm or visible dust escaping from air outlet. Do NOT wash PTFE‑membrane filter cartridges.
- Cut off power and compressed air before replacement. Clean sealing surface of cartridge seat to ensure air‑tightness. Use genuine OEM filter cartridges for best performance.
