Raycus ABP (Adjustable Beam Profile) fiber lasers are the core product series independently developed by Raycus Laser, filling the gap of domestic fiber laser technology with adjustable beam modes. Adopting customized fiber combiners and dual-core independent power control technology as the core, the lasers support free switching of multiple modes including Gaussian, annular and hybrid spot, with independent and on-demand adjustment of core/annular core power and millisecond-level mode switching. They also support dual operating modes of continuous wave and modulated wave.
Covering the full power range of 1500W-12000W, the series includes core models such as RFL-1500/1500, RFL-2000/4000, RFL-3000/3000 and RFL-6000/6000. Designed with an all-fiber structure, the lasers feature high stability, high electro-optical efficiency and spatter-free processing. Precisely adapted to the processing requirements of laser cutting, welding, cleaning, additive manufacturing and other processes, they are widely used in new energy, automobile manufacturing, 3C electronics, rail transit and other fields, serving as the core laser light source for improving the quality and efficiency of industrial processing.

  • Free Switching of Multi-spot Modes
    Supports arbitrary switching of Gaussian, annular and hybrid spots to adapt to the processing requirements of different materials and processes. No external optical path replacement is needed, greatly improving equipment adaptability.
  • Independent Control of Core/Annular Core Power
    The core and annular core power can be independently adjusted at any ratio with millisecond-level power switching, meeting the power matching requirements of high-precision welding and differentiated cutting.
  • High Stability and Reliability
    With an all-fiber structure, equipped with high-brightness and long-life pump sources and low photodarkening active fibers, the power instability is ≤±1.5%, which can be adapted to the 7×24h operation of automated production lines for a long time.
  • Excellent Processing Effect & Spatter-free Forming
    It features a larger and more stable molten pool with a small temperature gradient, realizing spatter-free welding with smooth, uniform and highly consistent weld formation. It also ensures superior cutting section quality and precise taper control.
  • Digital Intelligent Control
    Supports dual AD, RS232, Ethernet, Profinet/EtherNet IP bus control with an analog response time of <100μs, enabling real-time monitoring of welding/cutting parameters and visual fault analysis.
  • High Customization & Easy Integration
    The core/annular core fiber core diameter and beam mode can be customized on demand. Standard QD/IQB/QBH output connectors are provided, and the length of output optical cable is customizable, adapting to the integration and transformation of various industrial laser equipment.
  • Waveform Editing & Multi-mode Compatibility
    With waveform editing function, it supports dual operating modes of continuous wave and modulated wave with a wide modulation frequency range, meeting the needs of multiple scenarios such as precision cutting, high-speed welding and large-area cleaning.

Product Applications

New Energy Battery Manufacturing

As the core light source for lithium battery and power battery processing, it is adapted to processes such as copper tab welding, aluminum busbar welding, battery cover/case welding and water cooling plate welding. Realizing spatter-free welding and uniform penetration, it can improve the yield and production capacity of battery processing. For example, the welding speed of 2mm thick busbars can reach 100mm/s, and the welding efficiency of copper tabs is increased by more than 30%.

Automobile Manufacturing

Suitable for high-precision welding and thick plate cutting of automobile bodies, chassis and parts, such as carbon steel/stainless steel thick plate welding and automobile structural part cutting. It features beautiful weld formation and small taper of cutting section, adapting to the high-beat requirements of automobile automated production lines. It also supports high-end welding scenarios such as nuclear waste storage tank and large industrial component welding.

3C Electronics Manufacturing

Adapted to micro-welding and precision cutting of 3C components, connectors, terminals and precision structural parts. The low-power model (RFL-1500/1500) has excellent beam quality, realizing damage-free processing of micro parts and greatly improving the processing precision of 3C products.

Metal Processing & Cutting

Medium and high-power models (RFL-3000/3000, RFL-6000/6000) can realize all-round cutting of thin and thick plates for carbon steel, stainless steel, brass, aluminum alloy and other materials, balancing cutting speed and section quality. The 40mm carbon steel oxygen cutting features excellent section texture and a bilateral taper of ≤0.3mm for positive focus cutting.

Laser Cleaning & Surface Treatment

Relying on the advantages of annular composite spots, it can realize rust removal, paint stripping and oil removal on metal surfaces, as well as tire mold cleaning and pre-treatment of welding and spraying surfaces. The high power density of the annular spot makes the cleaning efficiency much higher than that of traditional lasers, and it is widely used in rail transit, shipbuilding, aerospace and other fields.

Additive Manufacturing & Other Fields

It can adapt to the spot mode requirements of industrial metal 3D printing, with Gaussian light for contour scanning and flat-top light for filling, balancing printing precision and efficiency. It can also be applied to special scenarios such as the removal of attachments on stone statue surfaces and photovoltaic module processing, with strong adaptability.
